Product Owner

Responsibilities:

• Translate approved product requirements and priorities into clear and actionable user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and organize the product backlog based on priorities and direction provided by the Tech-Lead or CEO.
• Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, documented, and ready for development.
• Work closely with the CEO and Tech Lead to clarify requirements, scope, dependencies, and technical considerations.
• Break down product requirements into manageable user stories and development tasks.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the development team in achieving sprint objectives by clarifying requirements and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate blockers, dependencies, and risks that may affect delivery.
• Manage sprint workflows, task boards, and product-related documentation in ClickUp.
• Ensure completed work meets the agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather clarifications, feedback, and information required for development.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for features, requirements, workflows, and delivery decisions.
• Monitor sprint progress and provide regular updates on delivery status, blockers, and outstanding items.
• Support the Tech-Lead in collecting feedback and identifying improvements based on development and user feedback.
• Use relevant Agile delivery metrics to monitor sprint performance, delivery progress, and team workflow.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Line Manager or CEO in line with business needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2–3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar product delivery role.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in backlog management, user story writing, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working closely with software development and engineering teams.
• Strong ability to translate business and product requirements into clear and actionable development tasks.
• Experience working with distributed or remote development teams.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
