Product Owner (m/f/d) AI-Driven Energy Management

Do you want to shape digital products that make industrial operations more efficient and sustainable? At etalytics, we develop intelligent energy management solutions that help industrial companies reduce energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, and operating costs. As a Product Owner , you will join our Product Team in Darmstadt and take ownership of selected product areas within our etaONE® platform. You won’t be working as a standalone Product Owner: you will collaborate closely with an experienced Product Owner as well as developers, data scientists, designers, and domain experts. This gives you the opportunity to contribute your existing product management experience while continuing to grow your expertise and level of ownership. We work with modern, AI-supported workflows and continuously explore new tools and approaches that help us build better software and make smarter product decisions. Tasks Take ownership of selected product areas and drive their development from requirements to release Translate customer needs, stakeholder input, and product goals into clear user stories and acceptance criteria Manage and prioritize backlog items in close collaboration with our experienced Product Owner and development teams Facilitate backlog refinements and contribute to sprint planning, product demos, and other agile formats Analyze customer feedback and product insights to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities Collaborate with developers, data scientists, designers, QA, and domain experts to turn requirements into impactful product improvements Requirements You bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in product management, ideally as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role Experience working with software development teams and agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban allows you to contribute effectively from day one You know how to translate customer and business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and priorities A good understanding of digital products and software development helps you collaborate effectively with technical teams Experience with B2B software, SaaS, AI, data-driven products, energy management, or industrial applications is a plus Very good English skills, both written and spoken, are required; German language skills are a plus Benefits: Purpose-driven work: Support industrial companies in becoming more efficient and sustainable Flexibility: Hybrid working with home office options and flexible working hours Team spirit: A supportive, collaborative environment with plenty of room for exchange and cooperation Community: Regular team events and shared activities Work-life balance: 30 days of vacation plus a flexible, agile work culture Well-being: Tax-free benefits card, subsidized local gym membership and the option of a job bike
