About the Role: We're looking for a Product Specialist on contract until the end of May 2027, to take operational ownership of LIC's animal ear tag portfolio and help deliver an outstanding ordering and fulfilment experience for our customers and sales teams. This newly created role sits at the intersection of operations, customer experience, product and technology. You'll oversee end-to-end order management, supplier performance, fulfilment processes and customer support, while helping shape the future of LIC's ecommerce capabilities through Salesforce and MyLIC. Working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Suppliers and Technology teams, you'll ensure our ordering platforms continue to evolve to meet customer needs while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong stakeholder relationships and improving systems and processes that make a real difference to customers. Your Key Focus: Own the day-to-day animal ear tag ordering and fulfilment process, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and efficiently. Manage operational performance across ordering, fulfilment, customer support and supplier relationships. Monitor supplier service levels and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead the resolution of escalated customer, ordering and fulfilment issues. Partner with technology teams to support and enhance Salesforce and MyLIC ordering capabilities by advocating for enhancements that improve customer, user experience and system performance. Support sales, marketing and customer communications relating to the tag portfolio. Assist with the planning and delivery of sales campaigns. Maintain operational processes, documentation and support resources for customer-facing teams. Analyse and report on order volumes, fulfilment performance, customer trends and operational risks. Support forecasting, budgeting and portfolio performance reporting. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve customer outcomes and enhance business performance. Your Skills & Experience: To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Experience managing operational sales, ordering or fulfilment processes involving customers, suppliers and support teams. Strong Salesforce knowledge, ideally across CRM and ecommerce functionality. Experience working with digital platforms, ecommerce systems or order management environments. Commercial acumen, including exposure to forecasting, budgeting, reporting or performance tracking. Experience partnering with technical or software delivery teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple functions. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with confidence managing competing priorities and complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering great customer experiences. Additional experience that would be valuable... Experience within agriculture, rural services, agribusiness or a customer-focused operational environment. Knowledge of ecommerce, fulfilment or supply chain processes. Experience supporting product portfolios or product operations.
