Product Support Engineer (Evertz MediatorX)

Location: Argentina – Remote

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for Evertz MediatorX, MAM, workflow, content processing, and distribution platforms.
Troubleshoot ingest, metadata, transcoding, workflow, integration, and delivery issues.
Perform RCA, incident management, problem management, and SLA tracking.
Develop automation and support tools using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Build and troubleshoot REST API/web service integrations.
Support media workflows including ingest, MAM, metadata, transcoding, distribution, and playout.
Coordinate with broadcast operations, engineering, and vendor support teams during major incidents.
Support upgrades, deployments, patching, release validation, and production improvements.
Create runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation.

Required Skills

Hands-on Evertz MediatorX experience.
Strong Java, Python, and JavaScript.
REST APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON, and message queues.
SQL/database troubleshooting.
Linux/Unix fundamentals.
Application log analysis and performance troubleshooting.
Incident and problem management.
Broadcast/media domain experience, including MAM, ingest, transcoding, metadata, playout, and content distribution.

Preferred Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Broadcast Engineering, or related field.
5–10 years of relevant experience in Media, Entertainment, Broadcast, OTT, or Digital Media.
Willingness to participate in on-call and critical production support rotations.
