Professional Services Consultant (SQL, Reporting & Integrations)

Why This Role Matters

As a Professional Services Consultant, you serve as the bridge between customer business objectives and technical solution delivery. You'll operate at the intersection of data, systems, reporting, and customer engagement, helping organizations make informed decisions through accurate reporting, scalable integrations, and optimized processes. Your work will directly impact customer adoption, reporting accuracy, integration success, operational efficiency, and long-term customer value realization.

What You'll Do (Job Summary)

• Partner with customers to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot custom reports using SQL and relational databases.
• Analyze customer data and define reporting structures, KPIs, and business metrics.
• Build and support integrations between Speria applications and customer systems using APIs, databases, and file-based exchanges.
• Create and maintain source-to-target data mappings, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve reporting, data quality, and integration-related issues.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform testing, validation, and deployment support for customer-facing solutions.
• Support go-live activities and post-implementation optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful customer outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Location & Travel

• Preferably remote and based in Sweden or the Netherlands, although candidates from other locations will also be considered
• Ability to travel approximately 20% as business needs require.
  
  

What You Bring (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience, including query development, reporting, troubleshooting, data validation, and data analysis.
• Experience working with relational databases and database structures.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, or system integrations.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or end users.
• Understanding of ERP systems or enterprise software environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic consulting environment.

• Experience with C#, .NET, Python, Java, or other scripting/programming languages.
• SQL Server experience.
• Experience supporting SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data migration projects, and data pipelines.
• Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
