The Flying Flamingo fellowship: A springboard and catalyst for the world’s breakthrough leaders.

The Flying Flamingo Fellowship is an applied, high-impact program designed to exponentially scale the reach of proven leaders.We bring together curated cohorts from grassroots initiatives to global institutions. Together, they tackle a shared systems challenge at the intersection of environment and health, all while driving ambitious goals within their home organizations.

Fellows experience a dynamic two-year program designed to stretch and grow their capacities as individuals and as a collaborative cohort:

Focus: Delivering at the intersection of health and the environment

Environmental decay directly threatens human health. From food security and clean air to urban planning and healthcare resilience, human well-being relies on healthy natural systems.This intersection is where today's most urgent challenges, and transformative opportunities, exist.

Impact: Three levels of impact over five years

• Systems level: 5x funded systems solutions. Actionable, fundable solutions are developed to address complex systems challenges at the intersection of health and the environment.
• Organisational level: 50x organisations achieving audacious impact goals. Fellows deliver on an audacious impact goal in their organisation or work.
• Leader level: 50x connected leaders working collectively on shared challenges. A fellowship of leaders who become global authorities on addressing systems-level challenges in fractured systems.

The Program Director Role

The role is the founding architect and leader of the fellowship. Reporting directly to the co-founders, you will play a central role in transforming an ambitious vision into one of the world's most innovative leadership fellowships at the intersection of health and the environment. This is a rare opportunity to build, shape and continuously evolve a pioneering model from the ground up.

You will manage a small, agile delivery team and a robust roster of expert consultants and contractors to design and coordinate a non-residential, two-year journey for the fellowship comprising 5 cohorts, each with 10 proven impact leaders. Your mandate is to ensure the frictionless integration of Unlocking Eve’s proprietary Integrated Leadership Model across four core capitals (Human, Social, Natural, and Financial), helping fellows achieve their own audacious organizational goals while collectively delivering fundable, systems-level solutions to the intersection of Human x Planetary health crises.

This position is remote-first. While we welcome applicants from any location, our team is primarily based across European and North American time zones, and some overlap with these hours is expected for collaboration and connection.

Critical Roles & Responsibilities

Pillar 1: Fellowship Build & Delivery

You will own the program's design and operational reality end-to-end across the 12-month build roadmap and into the first cohort launch of the Fellowship.

• Curriculum Design: Deliver the curriculum design by building the experiential learning arc, residencies (natural, human, social, and financial), and the structural integration of AI technology, working with external experts and content partners as required.
• Ecosystem Mapping: Lead the process to map and identify the specific systems challenge within Human & Planetary Health, working with the Co-Founders,the Design Team and managing an external consultant.
• Partner Onboarding: Own partner onboarding for content partners, residency hosts, and placement organizations (including networks like INSEAD, InTent, Skoll/Ashoka, and WEF Global Shapers), building effective, long-term relationships
• Fellow Selection Support: Support the fellow identification and selection process.
• Fellow Journey Management: Build and manage the full fellow journey from acceptance through preparation and into Year 1, ensuring a premium experience across communications, travel, logistics, and day-to-day experience.
• Team Leadership: Embody and role model integrated leadership as the leader for the internal and external team members in recruitment, onboarding, and development.
• Impact Measurement: Develop and oversee the fellowship's impact measurement framework, tracking fellow, organisational and systems-level outcomes and translating learning into future programme design.
• Programme Evolution and Excellence: Own the continuous improvement of the fellowship by gathering feedback from fellows and partners, evaluating programme quality, and iterating the experience between cohorts.
• Budget Ownership: Manage programme budgets and external contractors, ensuring effective use of resources against agreed plans.

Pillar 2: Partnership Development

You will support the Co-Founders in promoting the fellowship’s value proposition and building new partnership development opportunities.

• Partnership Development: Cultivate new partnerships with mission-aligned funders, placement partners, sponsors and curriculum content providers to deliver the fellowship outcomes.
• External Representation: Advocate and act as an ambassador for the fellowship at key external convenings, including WEF, InTent, and partner events.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

• Program Delivery Track Record: Prior experience designing, launching and leading complex global programs, such as executive accelerators, fellowship programs, corporate leadership development initiatives, or high-end training platforms.
• Proven Leadership Experience: 15+ years of progressively senior professional experience, including significant responsibility for cross-functional teams and external partners.. Embodies and a role model of the Integrated Leadership philosophy.
• Builder Mindset: Energised by creating something new. Comfortable working with ambiguity, testing ideas, solving problems creatively and building systems, partnerships and programmes that do not yet exist.
• Strong Professional Gravitas: The emotional intelligence and communication skills required to interface effectively with global leaders, grassroots practitioners, academic partners, and board members.
• Execution Focus: A high-accountability professional who takes pride in flawless execution, organization, and building clear processes that allow a team to succeed.
• Cross-Cultural Fluency: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures, geographies and disciplines, adapting communication and leadership style to diverse contexts while building trust with people from all backgrounds.
