We're looking for an experienced Program Lead to oversee the delivery of Our Spatial Odessey (OSO) - Geospatial Capability Uplift program of work. Reporting to the Program Manager, Technology, you will lead the delivery of the OSO 2030 Geospatial Capability Uplift Program, overseeing multiple project streams, delivery partners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic geospatial, data and technology outcomes. This role requires an experienced Program Lead with demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise platform implementations, data migration, integration and business transformation programs within complex operational environments. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of the OSO 2030 Geospatial Capability Uplift Program, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives. Oversee the implementation of the Enterprise GIS Platform, including data migration, system integration, testing, organisational readiness, and transition to operations. Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers and delivery teams, managing dependencies, risks, resources, and delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams. Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and delivery partners to drive successful outcomes. Manage program governance, risks and issues, dependencies, financial performance, vendor contracts, and governance requirements while providing clear and timely reporting to senior leadership. Help drive spatial capability uplift through effective data governance, knowledge transfer, change management, and adoption of geospatial capabilities across the organisation. Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience leading complex IT and digital transformation programs, ideally within the water, utilities, or public sector environment. Strong knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), asset management platforms, and enterprise business applications. Proven ability to manage program budgets, financial forecasting, vendor contracts, and benefits realisation across large-scale initiatives. Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with experience engaging executives, senior leaders, and external partners. Extensive people leadership experience, including leading multidisciplinary project teams and successfully delivering outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments. Bachelor’s degree in computing/ IT or equivalent and Prince2/ Program Management Professional (PMP) certified is essential. See yourself thrive Our vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
