JOB SUMMARY This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. Oversees ongoing Office of Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) programs and processes related to performance measurement, physician leadership development, executive communications, governance, and organizational engagement. Facilitates cross-functional relationships, synthesizes information, develops executive-level materials, and helps translate OCMO priorities into coordinated organizational action. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions listed are typical examples of work performed by positions in this job classification. Employees must abide by all Joint Commission Requirements including but not limited to sensitivity to cultural diversity, patient care, patient rights and ethical treatment, safety and security of physical environments, emergency management, teamwork, respect for others, participation in ongoing education and training, communication and adherence to safety and quality programs, sustaining compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, and licensure and health screenings. Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct. • Serve as a central resource for the OCMO, coordinating priorities and activities across the Chief Medical Officer, seven Associate Chief Medical Officers, physician leaders, and key organizational stakeholders. • Oversee the administration and ongoing development of the Funds Flow Incentive Plan performance dashboard, encompassing approximately 100 performance measures. Coordinate data collection, review information for completeness and trends, and prepare monthly reporting and materials for the Funds Flow Committee and School of Medicine Chairs. • Coordinate the OCMO's physician leadership development portfolio for approximately 230 Medical Directors. Partner with OCMO leadership to identify development needs and support the design and implementation of leadership education, including a Medical Director Leadership Academy. • Coordinate OCMO communications and engagement activities. Develop and maintain the OCMO newsletter and support executive communications, presentations, announcements, and other materials for physician and organizational audiences. • Support OCMO governance and leadership forums by coordinating agendas, synthesizing information, documenting decisions and follow-up actions, and ensuring matters requiring additional attention are appropriately advanced. • Establish and maintain mechanisms for receiving, organizing, evaluating, and responding to ideas, feedback, surveys, and requests directed to the OCMO. Identify themes and emerging needs and facilitate appropriate follow-through with OCMO leadership and stakeholders. • Support the OCMO medical direction performance review process by maintaining current job descriptions, coordinating review preparation and timelines, and compiling relevant information for leadership consideration. • Develop presentations, briefing materials, summaries, reports, and other executive-level content that synthesizes complex information and supports leadership discussions and decision-making. • Build and maintain effective relationships across clinical, administrative, and academic stakeholders to facilitate alignment and coordination of OCMO priorities. • Identify opportunities to strengthen OCMO programs, processes, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Recommend approaches and coordinate implementation of approved improvements. • Exercise independent judgment in organizing work, resolving operational issues, identifying appropriate stakeholders, and escalating matters requiring leadership attention. • Perform other duties as assigned in support of OCMO priorities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience. KNOWLEDGE These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education or licensure/certification. • Ability to coordinate complex programs and multiple concurrent priorities. • Ability to synthesize data and complex information into clear, actionable materials for executive and physician audiences. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, executives, operational leaders, and stakeholders across organizational functions. • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work, operate independently, and meet deadlines. • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information. • Ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, recommend solutions, and facilitate follow-through. • Ability to influence and coordinate work across functions without direct supervisory authority. • Ability to support organizational change and translate strategic priorities into operational activities. • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills. • Knowledge of performance measurement, reporting, and dashboard management. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Zoom, and similar collaboration tools. • Knowledge of communication and newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar applications. Pay Range Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
