Job Title: Program Manager, Ohio State Genomic Health-Medical Staff Administration Department: University Hospital | Medical Staff Administration This Program Manager role is specifically being recruited to support the Ohio State Genomic Health community health research initiative and OSUWMC’s partnership with Helix, a population health genomics company. The goal of Ohio State Genomic Health is to recruit 100,000 research participants over a 4–5-year period. As part of Ohio State Genomic Health, clinical genomic screening is being conducted on each consented participant, with the return of positive and negative genomic screening results for three clinically actionable conditions that confer increased risk for certain types of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Specifically, the Program Manager for Ohio State Genomic Health will report to the Executive Director and Principal Investigator of Ohio State Genomic Health in the Division of Human Genetics in the Department of Internal Medicine at OSU Wexner Medical Center and an associate director on the Chief Clinical Officer's team. Ohio State Genomic Health is part of the broader Helix Research Network (HRN). In collaboration with the Executive Director and PI, you will help implement plans to align strategies and initiatives to achieve study and partnership goals and objectives, facilitate and manage administrative operations related to data access and research utilizing the Ohio State Genomic Health and HRN datasets, and manage the administrative functions of multiple workstreams related to the success of Ohio State Genomic Health. You will also assist the PI in the development of Ohio State Genomic Health progress reports, RedCap data management, presentations, meeting summaries, website content, and the planning and execution of recruitment activities. Below are listed specific categories of job responsibilities: Project Governance & Facilitation Independently facilitate cross-functional project meetings, governance committees, and workgroups comprised of operational, clinical, research, and administrative stakeholders. Establish meeting objectives, document key decisions, track action items, and drive accountability for milestone completion. Build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities to advance strategic initiatives. Project Planning & Execution Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risk assessments, and resource requirements. Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, barriers, and opportunities; recommend corrective actions to maintain project objectives. Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives with overlapping stakeholders and competing deadlines. Strategic Initiative Support Partner with leadership to operationalize strategic priorities and translate high-level goals into actionable work plans. Support development of initiative roadmaps, implementation plans, and performance reporting frameworks. Conduct analysis and provide recommendations regarding project performance, operational effectiveness, and resource utilization. Stakeholder Management Exercises a high degree of independence in managing projects and facilitating stakeholder meetings, often representing leadership in routine project governance activities. Data Management & REDCap Develop, maintain, and optimize REDCap databases, forms, workflows, and reporting structures to support program operations, project tracking, and strategic initiatives. Serve as the primary administrator for program data management systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established governance standards. Design and implement data collection processes, validation rules, and quality assurance procedures to improve data reliability and operational efficiency. Analyze and interpret program data to identify trends, measure performance, and support organizational decision-making. Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and executive summaries to communicate project status, key performance indicators, and strategic outcomes. Partner with operational, clinical, research, and administrative stakeholders to define data requirements and develop reporting solutions that support business objectives. Writing & Executive Communication Synthesize complex operational, research, and project information into concise reports and recommendations for diverse stakeholder audiences. Prepare written analyses, status updates, and strategic summaries to support governance committees, leadership meetings, and organizational planning efforts Minimum required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
