UNSW Business School Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week) Duration: Continuing Remuneration: Level 6 from $ 108,021 plus 17% superannuation contributions and annual leave loading Location: Kensington Campus, Sydney, NSW (hybrid flexible working) Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold unrestricted work rights to be considered for this position Position Summary Career Accelerator and Student Engagement (CASE) equip students with the mindset, skills and experiences required to have long-term impact in their careers, through the delivery of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Career Development Learning (CDL) across the Business School and AGSM. The Program Officer plays a key role within the CASE team at UNSW Business School, contributing to the delivery of innovative, impactful programs that enhance student employability, engagement and sense of belonging. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with students and creating engaging experiences that encourage participation, build confidence and support career success. Working with a broad range of career-focused initiatives including Work Integrated Learning (WIL), career development programs, Australian Business Essentials (ABE), the Business Experience Program and case competitions. These programs connect students with industry, build real-world skills and enable students to apply their academic learning into meaningful career outcomes. The Program Officer contributes to the end-to-end coordination and delivery of programs and student facing workshops, information sessions and career-focused events. The role also contributes to the creation of communication and student success stories that showcase the impact of Career Accelerator programs, and is critical in ensuring high-quality delivery, continuous improvement and positive student experiences across CASE programs. Join a dynamic team shaping the career journeys of students through high-impact, industry-connected programs. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to lead the coordination and delivery of diverse initiatives, from Work Integrated Learning to large-scale student engagement activities, ensuring seamless execution and meaningful outcomes. You will collaborate closely with academics, industry partners and internal stakeholders to create engaging experiences that build employability and foster a strong sense of belonging among students. With a focus on continuous improvement, data-informed decision making, and high-quality delivery, you will play an integral role in enhancing program effectiveness and elevating the student experience across the Business School. The role reports to the Career Program Manager and has no direct reports. Some Key Skills Required Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience. Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced. Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications. Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
