Best Foot Forward, a nonprofit organization based in Boca Raton serving at-risk and foster care students throughout Palm Beach County, is seeking a Program Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the community. If you enjoy creating efficient systems, supporting a collaborative team, and helping programs run smoothly behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you. The Program Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our K–12 programs by providing administrative and operational support, coordinating calendars and schedules, maintaining accurate student records, and assisting with program logistics. This position works closely with multiple departments to keep projects organized, deadlines on track, and program operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and highly organized, with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. They anticipate program needs, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with some flexibility for remote work. Key Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of program operations and recordkeeping, including student admissions, academic progress tracking, program documentation, and maintaining organized program files. Assist with managing department-wide academic calendars, reminders, timelines, schedules, and important deadlines to ensure programs remain on track. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of student records within the organization's CRM, regularly updating information and supporting data integrity. Provide administrative support to the team by preparing documents, organizing materials, coordinating projects, and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks as needed. Assist with planning and coordinating student events by organizing logistics, preparing supplies, coordinating transportation, supporting holiday initiatives, and helping ensure successful event execution. Communicate with staff, schools, families, and community partners as needed to support program operations and administrative processes. Monitor inventory of program supplies and assist with ordering, organizing, and maintaining materials needed for daily operations and special events. Support department-wide projects, seasonal initiatives, and organizational priorities while helping ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently. Provide cross-program support by assisting other departments with projects, initiatives, and operational needs as required. Qualifications: Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams Strong organizational skills; extremely detail-oriented Strong follow-through skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task College degree required If you are excited about the opportunity to join our dynamic team, please submit your resume.
