Thomson Reuters Foundation is looking for a Programme Coordinator to join our TrustLaw team, within our Access to Law programme. Under our Access to Law programme, we work with lawyers, civil society and media organisations to make the law more accessible to those who need it most. We facilitate access to law through our leading legal services and programmes, including TrustLaw , the the world's leading pro bono legal service . TrustLaw partners with leading law firms and corporate legal teams to facilitate free legal assistance, critical operational support, actionable data and resources for civil society organisations, social enterprises and independent media around the globe. TrustLaw also produces original legal research on key social and policy issues to support advocacy and law reform, and delivers capacity-building workshops on legal topics worldwide. About the Role The Programme Coodinator plays a central role in the Access to Law team, coordinating the day-to-day running of our TrustLaw pro bono service and ensuring strong service standards. This is a client-facing role, supporting our membership (non-profits, social enterprises, legal teams, and other beneficiaries, as appropriate) to engage with the TrustLaw service, and providing comprehensive support to the Access to Law team which is globally distributed. You will report to Global Legal Manager as part of the Global Legal Team, working alongside a Legal Research Officer (also based in Mumbai). This is a permanent role based in Mumbai. Core Responsibilities Coordinate all pro bono requests, from reviewing and screening for eligibility and complexity, liaising with clients to obtain further information, managing scoping calls with the TrustLaw team, cross-checking posted requests, and sending out weekly legal network-wide communications. Coordinate connections of legal providers to pro bono clients to ensure a smooth running of service, including liaising with firms on questions about offers, screening offers for eligibility criteria, supporting with in-house-law firm collaborative offers, connecting complex research projects with multiple legal teams and providing support to troubleshoot connection issues. Liaise regularly with all TrustLaw members including law firms, corporate counsel, NGOs, social enterprises and other beneficiaries, and field a range of queries about the TrustLaw service and offerings, and the TrustLaw Portal, among others. Monitor and manage shared mailboxes, calendars, and team filing systems. Monitor accounts and projects in Salesforce, keep records up to date, and report on metrics for board reports and at regular Legal Team meetings, and track the status of pro bono projects and connections. Coordinate team guidance updates,support day-to-day administration of the TrustLaw Portal, and assist the team on Salesforce dashboards, metrics, and reporting queries. Coordinate team meetings, global internal team events, and team inductions/system set-up. Coordinate financial reporting and administration for the team, including administration to support donor engagement with the TrustLaw Giving Programme, liaising with the TRF Finance department where needed. Coordinate key initiatives to support our impact reporting, including our annual Fees & Hours outreach to our legal network to assess our overall pro bono value, and outreach and data gathering to support the development of annual impact reports for our Giving Programme donors. Support the global Access to Law team with a range of administrative tasks, as required. Assist with other duties as required such as supporting the Global Legal Team with the delivery of webinars, workshops, network engagement activities, and other events involving TrustLaw members and beneficiaries. ​About You 3+ years' experience in a coordination, administration, or client/account management role, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. A proactive, process-oriented individual with excellent client relationship skills and strong attention to detail. Strong experience in general administration and customer service. Comfortable working with financial administration or reporting processes (e.g., tracking budgets, supporting donor reporting, liaising with finance teams). Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred), including maintaining records, running reports, and using dashboards to track metrics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders — including law firms, corporate legal teams, NGOs, and social enterprises and across a global team. Fluent English is a must (both spoken and written) and additional languages preferred. A highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a globally distributed team.
