As a Project Buyer, you are part of a customer team in which you represent the procurement function. Our customers are primarily active in the semiconductor and defense industries. In our international high-tech, low-volume, high-mix production environment, you serve as a crucial link between customer requests and our suppliers. You take ownership of the procurement process from RFQ to NPI and ensure that required products are available on time—while keeping a close eye on lead time, pricing, and quality.

Strong communication skills and decisiveness; you're used to quickly switching between different stakeholders
A completed bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level)
3+ years of purchasing experience in a production or project-driven environment
Affinity with or experience in a technical setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
Your daily responsibilities include
Supporting Sales during the RFQ process towards our customers; your role is to obtain the right prices and terms from both existing and new suppliers to help Neways win the offer.
Ensuring timely availability of materials and services to enable initial product deliveries to customers.
Setting up systems with pricing and parameters to ensure a smooth handover to regular operations.
Coordinating with stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering, and Quality.
