We don't simply develop strategies; we work alongside our clients to successfully implement them Various Project Sites / Hybrid | Full-Time |Operational Readiness & Commissioning About the Role We are looking for a Project Controls and Handover Specialist to join our Commissioning team. In this key role, you will support the planning, execution, tracking, and close-out of commissioning and start-up projects, ensuring strong control of cost, schedule, documentation, and system handover activities. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across various sectors while helping ensure a smooth transition from Commissioning to operations. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain commissioning project schedules, resource plans, cost tracking tools, earned value tracking, and forecasts. Monitor progress against plan, identify variances, recommend corrective actions, and support risk/opportunity tracking with mitigation plans. Prepare project dashboards, KPIs, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders. Define and manage the system handover process with commissioning and operations teams, including readiness tracking and the system handover matrix. Coordinate mechanical completion, final acceptance, and handover priorities with engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and discipline leads. Ensure structured collection, validation, and control of handover documentation, including test records, redlines, O&M manuals, punch lists, deficiencies, and NCRs through closure. Support the implementation and use of digital commissioning controls and documentation. Act as a key interface across project teams to align execution sequence, handover priorities, resource coordination, and control-related activities. What You Bring Bachelor’s or technical degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, commissioning, or project delivery, ideally in industrial, infrastructure, or process plant environments. Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent, plus strong Microsoft Excel and dashboard/reporting skills. Familiarity with commissioning platforms such as Bluerithm, Smart Completions, or similar, and knowledge of system turnover/handover best practices including systemization and MC/SC/TO processes. Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in French is mandatory. Proficiency in English is also required in order to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec.
