Project Engineer

Project Engineer – Electrical & Automation:

Location: Vaasa, Finland (Hybrid – 75% Onsite / 25% Remote)

Contract Duration: 12 Months (01 Sep 2026 – 08 Jun 2027, high likelihood of extension)

Workload: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Industry: Manufacturing / Sustainable Energy & Power Plants

Language Requirements: Fluent Finnish OR Swedish, plus business English

About the Role:

We are seeking an intermediate-level Project Engineer specializing in electrical and automation engineering to support Engine Power Plant projects within the sustainable energy sector. You will plan and execute control system hardware design while coordinating technical activities across project managers, suppliers, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute control system hardware design for Engine Power Plants.
• Serve as the central technical reference for internal project teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure project execution aligns strictly with contract specifications, budget limits, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve key project milestones.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Practical experience in power plant automation hardware design and CAD engineering tools (experience with E3 is a strong advantage).
• Power Systems: Knowledge of medium-voltage protection functions and control systems.
• Languages: Professional fluency in Finnish or Swedish, alongside proficient English skills.
• Nice to Have: Experience with PLC systems, site work, or piston engine-driven power plants.
