The impact you’ll make As a Project Engineer at Lam, you're not merely managing projects - you're driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lam's products. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll steer the execution of engineering projects, leveraging your technical prowess and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. Your focus on continuous improvement in the development lifecycle will be pivotal as you own project to optimize and enhance Lam's offerings. What you’ll do Creates customer specific system layouts, floor templates for simple to complex system configurations Interpret sales orders, customer specifications, and engineering requirements to configure system-level layouts Create and manage complete engineering drawing packages for system layouts. Manages the Simplified Representation/Linked Exterior CAD model of the System layout Ensure design integrity, configuration accuracy, and compliance with established engineering practices. Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Groups, Program Managers, and Operations teams to establish project priorities and delivery schedules Conduct design quality reviews and perform engineering quality checks on system layouts Perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations on layout-related issues and implement sustainable corrective actions Hosts review meetings with Product Groups for clarifications on configuration and CAD accuracy Performs RCCA on system layout related PRs and derive corrective actions and drive continuous process improvements Provide immediate response and timely resolution to system layout related issues Who we’re looking for Minimum of 6 years and upto 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in CAD package (Unigraphics NX, Creo, Autocad) integrated with the PLM database (Siemens Teamcenter) Proficient in ASME/DIN/ISO/SEMI standards Proficient in feature-based modeling, mechanical dimensioning and GD&T Hands-on experience in TC PLM (Product Life Cycle Management applications, Change Request/Engineering Chance Notice- ECN, Problem Report-PR, Non-Standard Request-NSR) Strong understanding of system-level mechanical design principles and engineering documentation. Strong in PLM process methodologies (concept to end-of life) Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to work with dynamic cross functional teams globally and deliver results Capable of tracking & reporting progress of tasks and projects using Project management techniques Desirable Skills & Competencies Experience in working with Mechanical Architectural design teams (including Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Controls, and manufacturing) for major projects Understanding of manufacturing, installation, and field deployment requirements.
