Our client is delivering some of Ireland's largest renewable energy infrastructure projects, from energy parks and wind developments to major energy storage facilities that will shape the country's transition to a low-carbon future.
With a secured 7GW project pipeline extending through to 2040, they're looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their growing PMO team.
This is far more than a traditional engineering role. It's an opportunity to build your career in project management, working alongside experienced Senior Project Managers while gaining exposure to complex, multi-million euro infrastructure projects from development through to delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
Support the Delivery of Major Infrastructure Projects
Working alongside Senior Project Managers, you'll help coordinate projects through every phase of delivery, ensuring programmes stay on track while supporting the successful delivery of nationally significant renewable energy developments. From planning through to commissioning, you'll become an integral part of the project team.
Coordinate Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Teams
You'll work across a variety of engineering disciplines, acting as the link between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and specialist engineering teams. Rather than carrying out detailed design work, you'll ensure everyone is aligned, informed and progressing towards key project milestones.
Keep Projects Moving
You'll assist with project planning, scheduling and milestone tracking while supporting procurement activities, contract administration, budgeting and financial reporting. You'll also prepare reports, coordinate meetings, manage action logs and maintain project documentation in line with PMO standards.
Support Governance & Compliance
Working within an established PMO framework, you'll help monitor project risks, planning permissions, environmental compliance and regulatory approvals while ensuring governance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For
Project Experience
You'll ideally have around three years' experience supporting the delivery of large-scale energy or infrastructure projects. Experience within renewable energy, utilities, power generation or major civil infrastructure would be particularly valuable.
Strong Coordination Skills
You're highly organised and enjoy bringing people together to achieve a common goal. You'll be comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, tracking progress and ensuring projects continue moving forward.
Engineering or Project Background
You'll hold a degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or another relevant discipline.
Candidates from Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.
Project Management Qualifications
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent are desirable, as is any postgraduate qualification in Project Management.
Excellent Communication
You'll enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and be confident producing reports, coordinating meetings and communicating effectively across project teams.
Experience using Microsoft Office and MS Project would also be beneficial.
