Project lead, Project management

As project lead, you support the project sponsor and oversee a work team involved in cross-sector projects and initiatives to ensure objectives are met. You participate in all the different project phases, from design to rollout. You organize, manage and control the human, material, financial and IT resources needed to deliver very large-scale, innovative projects involving multiple sectors. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively manage teams and help the organization achieve its objectives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your field of expertise. You are responsible for strategic projects that are very organizationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. You lead, influence and serve as an expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and act on behalf of the organization, and you help negotiate agreements with external providers.
