Project Manager

Job title: Project Manager Location: UK (Global Flexible) At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. The role: As a Project Manager, you will help drive our goals by: • Leading the planning and delivery of business and IT-enabled projects, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, budget and quality expectations • Developing clear, structured project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resources and deliverables in line with governance standards • Establishing and managing project governance, including stage gates, RAID management and change control • Coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and enable smooth delivery • Monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring timely escalation and mitigation of blockers • Providing clear and concise reporting to sponsors and governance forums to support informed decision-making Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: • Proven experience delivering end-to-end business and technology projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments • Strong understanding of structured project delivery frameworks and methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed, actionable project plans aligned with technical delivery • Effective stakeholder management with the ability to influence and communicate clearly at all levels • Strong organisational , analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail • Experience using project planning and delivery tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or Azure DevOps Even if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!
