We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for all facets of project management for the GrayMatter Services team. The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact on projects for GrayMatter clients. This position is responsible for managing the project budget and schedule, scheduling resources, managing tasks, and ensuring scope adherence during project work. Overall, the Project Manager works diligently to ensure that their assigned projects deliver success for our customers while meeting margin targets. Location: Remote Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle; proactively manage expectations and maintain scope adherence. Prepare, track, and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and change orders. Monitor financial performance to meet target margins. Partner with operations to efficiently schedule and allocate resources; forecast ongoing project financial and resource requirements. Work closely with Technical Leads to define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and ensure project tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records within the project management system, including regular budget reviews, cost tracking, timecards, and expense approvals. Successfully balance and prioritize deliverables across multiple concurrent projects. Ability to travel 25-30% based on client needs. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 5 years of dedicated Project Management experience within Information Technology or technical services environments. Demonstrated proficiency in project estimating (time/effort, cost, capacity), resource mapping, and critical path scheduling using Gantt charts. Hands-on experience with standard project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana) and estimating systems. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset. Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of technical project management experience. Active PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, or related credentials. Experience with or strong knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, industrial automation, or OT/IT systems.
