Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Project Manager to support a variety of construction management services to the National Park Service (NPS), specifically to Yosemite National Park and other central and Southern California national parks. The Project Manager will provide strategic oversight, technical leadership, and disciplined management to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and in compliance with the customer’s requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and strong relationships with the NPS. This role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to develop solid relationships with NPS staff. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with federal requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in federal construction management, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment. This position requires a home office or other remote work location with the ability to respond to Yosemite National Park within 48 hours when needed. The Project Manager may also serve as the on-site Construction Management Representative (CMR) during staffing gaps or planned absences. Key Responsibilities: Project & Program Leadership Lead execution of construction management services for Yosemite National Park and other assigned NPS projects. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality performance. Oversee multidisciplinary teams, including Construction Management Representatives (CMRs), environmental consultants, and commissioning agents. Ensure timely delivery of all contract requirements and project deliverables. Provide project status reporting and recommendations to PSI leadership. Client & Stakeholder Management Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), and other government stakeholders. Serve as a trusted advisor to NPS staff by providing sound recommendations supporting facility sustainment, repair, modernization, and capital improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Contract Administration & Quality Assurance Monitor contract compliance, quality assurance, and construction administration activities. Manage change control processes, issue resolution, and risk mitigation strategies. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Coordinate site surveys, engineering support, and technical deliverables. Team Development & Business Support Mentor and support the professional development of project staff. Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across projects. Support proposal development and follow-on task order opportunities. Ensure personnel maintain required clearances, certifications, and training requirements. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Certifications OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required). PMP Certification (preferred). Certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM) (Preferred or ability to obtain certification). Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license preferred. Experience 10+ years of project management experience, preferably within construction or program management environments. 8+ years of federal project management experience. Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects across geographically dispersed locations. Experience supporting federal agencies, ideally the National Park Service or similar organizations. Desired Skills & Competencies: Leadership Proven ability to lead complex construction management projects and multidisciplinary teams. Experience directing consultants, subcontractors, and technical personnel. Customer Service & Collaboration Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to government clients and stakeholders. Ability to build collaborative relationships across all organizational levels. Technical Expertise Knowledge of construction quality management, project controls, scheduling, contract administration, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and funding requirements. Communication & Problem Solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to resolve complex project challenges. Financial Management Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting. Commitment to fiscal accountability and cost-effective project delivery. Travel & Work Environment: Remote work location established by the employee (home office or approved workspace). Approximately 12 site visits per year anticipated. Occasional CONUS travel required. Combination of remote office work and on-site project visits based on project and client needs.
