We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Automation team and lead a portfolio of strategic projects across productivity improvements, material changes, and business resilience initiatives. In this role, you will manage multiple cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven project leader with strong stakeholder management skills, experience navigating complex environments, and the ability to translate project plans into successful business outcomes. What You'll Do Project Leadership & Delivery Lead and manage multiple projects of varying complexity within the Automation portfolio. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. The person will also oversee the budget and its allocation. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance project delivery methods. Stakeholder & Communication Management Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts. Establish and manage communication plans that keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and key milestones. Facilitate project meetings, decision-making sessions, and governance reviews. Escalate critical risks, issues, or delays as appropriate to senior leadership. Change Management & Compliance Serve as the Change Owner for project-related changes within established governance processes. Prepare and present change proposals to Governance Boards for review and approval. Lead the preparation, submission, and approval process for Change Control Records (CCRs). Ensure adherence to the Convatec Quality Management System (QMS), relevant SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and audit-ready records throughout the project lifecycle. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects while meeting timelines and budget requirements. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks. Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions, geographies, and organizational levels. Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and resource management. Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision. Familiarity with stage-gate project models and structured project delivery frameworks. Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and good documentation practices. Experience within regulated industries is highly desirable. Knowledge of Medical Device Regulations and Design Control principles is considered an advantage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent project management certification preferred. Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel, including domestic and international travel to Convatec manufacturing sites and supplier locations as required. Languages English: Required (written and verbal) German and/or Spanish: Good to have Working Conditions Remote working arrangements.
