About the Role As a Project Manager, Data, Reporting & Analytics , you will turn complex operational data into clear insights that help leaders make informed decisions. You will manage projects that strengthen performance reporting, dashboard development, portfolio visibility, and readiness for initiatives supporting H&R Block tax offices. Working across operations, finance, analytics, product, and field leadership, you will align reporting needs, clarify measures, and deliver accurate, actionable information. Your work will help teams identify risks, understand performance, and continuously improve how we support our associates and clients. Day to day you'll... Manage project plans for operational metrics, dashboards, reporting routines, portfolio health, and leadership insights. Coordinate reporting requirements, measures, definitions, timing, and ownership across business partners. Analyze operational results, performance patterns, trends, and outliers to identify improvement opportunities. Translate data and reporting outputs into clear, decision-ready summaries and recommended actions. Maintain metric definitions, dashboard inputs, reporting documentation, data requests, and recurring insight routines. Track progress against readiness milestones while documenting status, decisions, issues, and follow-up actions. Identify and escalate risks, assumptions, barriers, and dependencies affecting readiness, adoption, quality, or timing. Combine operational data, stakeholder input, and tax-office feedback to identify recurring themes and friction. Support change readiness through aligned messaging, training inputs, support pathways, and leader guidance. Measure results, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future project planning and execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience 3 - 5 years of related experience supporting data, reporting, or analytics initiatives, including defining metrics, coordinating reporting requirements, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable business insights Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group; ability to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually) Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group as a member of a team Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
