Role Description

This is a full-time Project Manager (Renewable Energy) role based in Bucharest, Romania, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of photovoltaic park projects from early development through construction and commissioning. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating suppliers, contractors, and expeditors, and ensuring materials, equipment, and services are delivered on schedule. The role involves supervising inspection activities, monitoring compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards, and resolving logistical and operational issues. The Project Manager will also prepare project documentation and reports, support stakeholder communication, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track and within scope.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with expediting processes, including working as an Expeditor and handling Expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Background in Inspection and quality control for construction or energy projects, with a focus on technical, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Logistics Management capabilities, including coordinating transport, warehousing, and site deliveries for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field; a project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of renewable energy, particularly photovoltaic technology and grid connection processes, is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Romanian language proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment, manage multiple priorities, and travel to project sites as needed.
