Project Manager – Specialist (Architecture Governance & IT Operating Model) We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager / Management Consultant with strong expertise in IT governance, enterprise architecture, and organizational transformation . This is an excellent opportunity to support the development of architecture governance, operational models, and strategic decision-making within a large, complex organization undergoing significant digital transformation. The successful consultant will work closely with senior leadership, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT management to strengthen architecture capabilities and establish sustainable governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities Architecture Governance Develop and improve architecture governance models, decision forums, and governance processes. Ensure alignment between business strategy, portfolio management, architecture governance, and execution. Define governance principles, decision-making structures, and architectural policies. Roles & Responsibilities Clarify responsibilities across Enterprise, Business, Information, Domain, and Solution Architecture. Develop role descriptions, governance structures, responsibility matrices, and architectural mandates. Operating Model Development Design and document architecture operating models. Define processes, deliverables, quality standards, and working methods. Support implementation and adoption of new governance practices. Change Management Lead organizational change initiatives related to architecture capability development. Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across management and technical teams. Support adoption of new governance models and operating principles. Strategic Management Support Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Prepare executive presentations, decision material, governance recommendations, and steering committee documentation. Support long-term strategic planning for architecture and IT governance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in one or more of the following: IT Governance Enterprise Architecture Business Transformation Management Consulting Proven experience designing and implementing IT or Architecture operating models. Extensive experience leading organizational change within large and complex enterprises. Strong background establishing governance structures, decision-making processes, roles, and responsibilities. Experience working with multiple business units and senior stakeholders. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of: IT Governance Enterprise Architecture Governance Portfolio Management Operating Models Organizational Development Change Management Executive Communication Governance Frameworks Hands-on experience with frameworks such as: TOGAF SAFe or equivalent Enterprise Architecture methodologies Ability to tailor governance frameworks pragmatically to business needs.
