What this Job Entails: We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Analyst to join the Enterprise Integration team. In this role, you will support critical integration initiatives by tracking project deliverables, managing ticketing and service workflows, automating reporting dashboards, and supporting financial/budgetary analysis across recurring and routine projects. This position relies heavily on enterprise collaboration and document control; candidates must have practical experience utilizing tools like Jira and SharePoint to coordinate cross-functional work streams and maintain project repositories. This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days onsite in Oakland, CA. Your Roles and Responsibilities: Project Support & Analysis: Work on recurring or routine project tracks and assist Senior Analysts and Project Managers on complex, enterprise-wide integration deliverables. Collaboration & Workflow Tracking: Utilize Jira to track project backlogs, monitor sprint/milestone progress, assign tasks, and maintain clear visibility into enterprise integration work streams. Document Management & Governance: Manage project documentation, team portals, and knowledge repositories using SharePoint , ensuring proper version control, permission structures, and seamless access to project assets across teams. Dashboarding & Business Intelligence: Utilize Power BI to design, build, and maintain interactive reporting dashboards that track project key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and delivery milestones for PG&E stakeholders. Process Automation & Data Entry: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting workflows, improving data accuracy and efficiency across business processes. Ticketing & Incident Workflows: Utilize enterprise ticketing tools (such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy ) to log, prioritize, track, and report on integration requests, support tickets, and system workflow items. Financial & Budget Tracking: Assist with core project accounting functions, including budget tracking, resource allocation analysis, expense monitoring, and variance reporting. Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather detailed business and reporting requirements from cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with operational goals. Quality & Continuous Improvement: Execute detailed task instructions provided by project leads, participating in regular work reviews to progressively take on more independent scope over time. Qualifications/Skills: Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Experience: 1-2 years of related business, systems, or project support experience Collaboration Tooling: Practical experience working with Jira (task/issue tracking, board management) and SharePoint (site administration, library management, document version control). Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with business applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data modeling). Financial Aptitude: Solid baseline knowledge of budgeting, accounting concepts, and expense tracking. Driver's License: May require a valid California driver’s license for local travel between facilities. Preferred Qualifications & Technical Competencies BI & Analytics: Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms. IT Service Management: Familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g., BMC Remedy, ServiceNow) to manage project requests and support workflows. Utility / Enterprise Experience: Prior experience contracting or working within large-scale utility, energy, or IT enterprise environments (e.g., PG&E system support). Database & Process Knowledge: Foundational understanding of database structures, SQL, and business process mapping. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
