Property Accountant Hot Job Corp Multi Family - Richmond, VA 23230 Apply Overview Salary Range $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage None Category Accounting Apply Description Landmark Property Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our multifamily housing portfolio. This role is responsible for month-end close, bank reconciliations, owner distributions, mortgage reporting, financial statement preparation, and other accounting functions. Schedule: 📅 Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 📅 Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Review and resolve Positive Pay exceptions and upload Positive Pay files. Process utility payments and Conservice requests. Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations. Reconcile bank accounts, tenant receivables, security deposits, and escrow accounts. Prepare monthly financial packages and owner distributions. Record mortgage payments and complete mortgage verifications. Process insurance and real estate tax payments. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and audit items. Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and special projects. Calculate DSCR and prepare Reserve Replacement schedules as needed. Property management accounting experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
