Property Damage Documentation Specialist-WFH

Salary Range: $18.00 To $18.00 Hourly Property Damage Documentation Specialist (Remote) Every hazard claim starts with someone catching the details others might miss. That's you. DIMONT is seeking a full-time, fully remote Property Damage Documentation Specialist to join our claims operations team supporting hazard insurance claims for mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors nationwide. In this role, you will review documentation related to property damage, such as photos, reports, and inspection records, to determine whether the damage qualifies for a hazard insurance claim. You'll be part of our claims operations team, contributing a critical step in the hazard claims process. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in hazard insurance, property preservation, or mortgage servicing who takes pride in detailed, accurate work, and offers the opportunity to sharpen your expertise in hazard claims and damage assessment. What You Will Do Review photos, damage reports, weather data, police reports, and inspection reports to identify insurable damage Utilize property preservation and REO systems to support damage review and claim documentation Initiate hazard insurance claims with accurate, audit-ready documentation Secure insurance and loan information through client systems and communicate findings to the appropriate teams Respond to inquiries and support internal and external clients with claim-related questions Manage assigned work queues while meeting productivity and quality standards What You Bring 1+ year of experience in hazard insurance, property preservation, REO, or mortgage servicing preferred. Candidates with strong experience in insurance claims, title, escrow, or other detail-driven documentation roles are also encouraged to apply Familiarity with property damage documentation and coverage review Comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the day We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to respond quickly.
