About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) to join our team as an independent contractor in a part-time, remote role.
This is an assessment-based position focused on conducting psychological assessments for children, teens, and/or adults. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments that support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning, educational recommendations, and a deeper understanding of each patient’s emotional, cognitive, developmental, and relational functioning.

This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to practice within a clinic that values individualized care, clinical rigour, and meaningful psychological understanding.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct or supervise the conduct of comprehensive psychological assessments for adults, adolescents, and/or children.
- Conduct and supervise psychodiagnostic and neurodevelopmental assessments, including assessments related to ADHD and other developmental, cognitive, behavioural, and diagnostic concerns.
- Conduct or supervise psychological assessments related to motor vehicle accidents (MVA), including evaluation of psychological symptoms, functional impairment, treatment needs, and relevant diagnostic considerations.
- Provide assessment services related to emotional, social, developmental, cognitive, academic, attentional, behavioural, and diagnostic concerns.
- Administer, score, and interpret assessment measures, inventories, clinical interviews, behavioural observations, and collateral information, as clinically appropriate.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and clinically meaningful psychological assessment reports.
- Provide diagnostic impressions, case formulations, and recommendations to support treatment planning, rehabilitation, educational planning, accommodations, and patient understanding.
- Conduct feedback sessions with patients, parents, caregivers, or referring parties, as appropriate.
- Collaborate on individualized case formulations that consider psychological symptoms, developmental history, relational patterns, functional limitations, and the broader psychosocial context.
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to assessment clinicians, including guidance regarding test selection, administration, interpretation, diagnostic formulation, report preparation, and recommendations.
- Document clinical work securely using JaneApp and maintain records in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a confidential remote workspace with stable internet access, professional lighting, and a quality camera.
- Communicate with patients using a dedicated business phone line.
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, school psychology, or a related psychological discipline.
- Registered in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Declared competency to work with adults.
- Authorized for independent or supervised practice in Ontario.
- Demonstrated training and experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and reporting on psychological assessments.
- Experience conducting assessments with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to produce clear, organized, and clinically useful reports.
- Comfort providing virtual psychological assessment services.
- Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centred care.

- Experience working with families, schools, physicians, or other professionals as part of the assessment process.
- Experience assessing ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, giftedness, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality functioning, attachment-related concerns, and developmental concerns.
- Familiarity with JaneApp or similar practice management software.
- Fluency in French or additional languages.
Availability
- Monday to Friday availability, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Flexible scheduling is available based on clinician preference and clinic needs.
