IR35 / ENGAGEMENT STATUS
Anticipated outside IR35 for defined call-off assignments, subject to final assignment scope, status assessment and engagement route. PAYE / umbrella options may also be considered where appropriate.
INDICATIVE RATE
Typically £330–£475 per day, depending on role, experience, availability and assignment requirements.
ABOUT DADA
DADA Enterprises Limited, trading as DADA, is building a pre-qualified associate resource bench to support public sector grant assessment, scoring, moderation, feedback quality assurance and assessment operations.
This is not a guaranteed full-time assignment. Successful applicants may be contacted for specific call-off work when grant assessment rounds are mobilised.
ROLES WE ARE SOURCING
We are interested in associates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Public sector grant assessment
- Skills, employment, adult education or further education
- Capital, estates, construction or technical delivery assessment
- Moderation panels and consensus scoring
- Feedback quality assurance
- Risk, evidence, assurance or due diligence review
- PMO coordination, trackers, dashboards and document control
WHAT THE WORK MAY INVOLVE
Depending on your role profile, assignments may include:
- reviewing grant applications against defined criteria;
- producing clear, evidence-based scoring rationales;
- assessing delivery credibility, value for money, inclusion, learner support, employer engagement, technical deliverability and measurable outcomes;
- supporting moderation, variance review and consensus scoring;
- reviewing feedback for clarity, neutrality and challenge-readiness;
- maintaining trackers, QA logs, action logs and handover records.
WORKLOAD EXPECTATIONS
Work will be call-off based and dependent on application volume, mobilisation timing, availability, conflict checks and assignment requirements.
As a planning guide:
- individual application reviews are expected to take approximately 3.75 hours per application, subject to complexity and criteria;
- larger rounds may require availability across a four-to-six-week delivery window;
- moderation, QA and PMO roles may require scheduled availability for calibration, progress reviews, moderation meetings and close-out activity;
- shortlisting or onboarding does not guarantee immediate deployment.
LOCATION AND TRAVEL
The work is expected to be primarily remote. Candidates should be UK-based and able to work securely from home. Occasional travel to London may be required for mobilisation, calibration or client meetings, subject to assignment requirements. Any travel requirement will be confirmed before assignment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- strong written judgement and evidence-based assessment skills;
- ability to work to tight deadlines;
- confidence applying published scoring criteria consistently;
- ability to write clear, neutral and defensible rationales;
- strong confidentiality and data-handling discipline;
- willingness to complete conflict-of-interest, confidentiality, data-handling and calibration checks before deployment.
