Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and well-organised Purchasing Assistant to support our Sourcing & Supply Chain (SSC) team and Finance with day-to-day purchasing activities and help ensure that orders, documentation and product data are accurate and up to date. Your main responsibilities: Entering purchase orders into the system and monitoring their progress; Maintaining and organising purchase order documentation; Communicating order-related information and documentation to suppliers; Maintaining and updating database records; Updating and adding additional cost information regarding PO-s in ERP; Validating and forwarding of freight and customs invoices to AP team; Checking and verifying supplier invoices and communicating with suppliers regarding that, when needed; Entering and updating product information; Providing day-to-day operational support to the SSC. What we are looking for: Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, data management or an administrative role; Good command of English, both written and spoken; Experience working with different systems and databases; Accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with data; Good organisational skills and a systematic approach to work; Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on ongoing activities; A responsible and proactive attitude.
