Python AI Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build the agent and retrieval layer of an enterprise AI assistant serving thousands of employees, where an orchestrator invokes skills and routes to specialized agents exposed as internal services. This is a production system that already exists and keeps evolving, not a greenfield prototype. You'll own evaluation coverage for the behavior you ship, working primarily in Python, with some frontend work as your features require it.

What You'll Do:

- Build agent and retrieval capabilities for a production AI assistant.

- Build LangGraph flows and RAG pipelines over structured and unstructured sources.

- Hold evaluation coverage on the AI behavior you ship.

- Extend the existing Next.js front end where your features require it.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience with Python, 8+ years for lead-level scope.

- Proven experience with LLM systems running in production, built, maintained, and evolved, not just taken from zero to one.

- Hands-on experience with LangChain or LangGraph.

- Experience with RAG over structured and unstructured sources.

- Experience with AWS.

- Availability to work PST hours.

- Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

- Experience with LLM evaluation and tracing, including LangSmith, LLM-as-judge, or golden datasets.

- Some experience with React or TypeScript.

- Experience with multi-agent orchestration.

- Familiarity with vector databases, MCP servers, or streaming agent interactions.
