Python Developer

Overview Location: Poland | Remote The Developer is responsible for the overall performance of the product by applying software engineering principles to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software. This role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines. Technology Tools Python Java - nice to have Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible Cloud Platforms (preferred: AWS; additional experience with Azure or GCP is a plus) Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do Develop code based on functional specifications and a thorough understanding of product code, identifying refactoring opportunities and architectural improvements. Translate and read software requirements to understand their impact on design specifications, ensuring adherence throughout the development lifecycle. Perform moderately complex peer code reviews and contribute to standards and processes aligned with software development methodology, including planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews. Create and apply automated tests and test principles to software changes, including unit tests, to verify code meets technical specifications before submission to code review. Contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance. Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues, making data-driven recommendations for internal process improvements and product documentation. Role Essentials Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with Python and preferably Java, with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), AWS platforms , and working in Windows/Linux development environments using open-source tools and platforms Demonstrated experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, continuous software delivery, and continuous integration tools. B2/C1 level of english What We'd Like to See Experience with testing practices including unit and integration tests; e2e testing in Playwright is a plus. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage projects through to completion with minimal oversight. Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners toward shared goals. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization with discretion and tact. Ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and drive consensus across teams and stakeholders.
