Python (Linear Programming) Engineer - Remote in México

YOUR ROLE: You will join a specialist group that uses advanced math, computer programs, and data to build mathematical models that make smart, fast business choices - decide where to spend money on exploration, exploitation and how to run oil and gas projects. Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes. Create and Optimize math models, workflows , including uploading inputs into existing scripts, and design simple UI components where needed. Implement Linear Programming with Python. Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets. Integrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval. Perform data extraction and parsing from third-party APIs. Support GIS mapping tasks. YOUR PROFILE: Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent and 4+ yoe Strong Experience in Python , implementing Linear Programming , create mathematical models , workflows and optimize them Develops mathematical models and workflows from concept to implementation, applying algorithmic thinking and analytical approaches to address business and technical challenge Experience in Azure Cloud Strong understanding of database interaction (SQL or NoSQL), data automation and building lightweight UIs. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and ETL/data processing tools. Ability to work with APIs for data extraction and integration. Advanced English Communication.
