QA Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer Ecommpay is on a mission to build a global, data-driven payment ecosystem. We help top e-commerce companies to grow globally with local bespoke solutions. You have a unique chance to be the driving force behind Ecommpay's payment platform as a QA Automation Engineer. About the role: This person will join a team responsible for a critical component of the business process - tariff calculation and the delivery of financial data to clients. In this role, you will gain insight into the internal workings of international payment systems such as Visa and Mastercard, as well as a deeper understanding of how the Fintech ecosystem operates in practice. This domain is characterised by complex algorithms and a high level of responsibility shared across all team members. Responsibilities: Maintain the quality and stability of payment fee calculation services Perform component, integration and end-to-end backend testing by developing and maintaining automated tests in Python Perform manual testing during the onboarding period and for complex scenarios that are not practical to automate Collaborate with teammates to understand business logic, clarify requirements, and drive solutions Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer Proven track record of testing high-load backend systems Expertise in developing automated tests in Python (pytest) Understanding of microservice architecture and experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with relational databases and writing PostgreSQL queries Proficiency in working with Redis Confident working in a Linux environment Experience analyzing application logs Experience testing APIs with Postman or similar tools Good command of English and Russian Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results independently Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: Experience working in the fintech industry Basic understanding of Go or willingness to learn to read Go code Experience with maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI Experience testing gRPC services Experience with load testing At Ecommpay, you get to work in a flat, open and free environment, surrounded by committed, smart and talented colleagues from various cultural and academic backgrounds.
