across the United States. We are a remote and global team — now growing our engineering team in

Romania — operating in a heavily regulated industry where quality has real stakes.

The Role

Testing today is largely manual, and the first automation foundations — Playwright + TypeScript —

are in place. It is still very much greenfield: you will continue the build-out and shape how testing is

done here. You will:

• Own automated E2E, load, and stress testing across backend, web, and mobile (devs own

unit/integration tests)

• Test new features manually first — through their first sprint runs until production — then

turn that understanding into automated coverage

• Grow coverage from the most critical user journeys to most of the application, running in CI

• Build a living test-case library — features, scenarios, and the edge cases nobody thought of

• Use AI tools daily for test cases, tests, and test data — AI drafts, you set the bar and approve

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of professional QA experience — solid manual and exploratory testing, plus hands-

on automation across backend, web, and mobile

• Experience introducing or scaling test automation where little coverage existed

• JavaScript/TypeScript; web E2E tooling (Playwright, Cypress) and API-level automation

• Load and stress testing (k6, JMeter, Gatling); CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)

• Solid SQL for test data and verification; Jira and Confluence fluency

• Nice to have: iGaming or high-traffic consumer platforms, security testing, distributed teams
