QA Automation Engineer

We have always worked remotely and are passionate about remote communications. We are looking for a talented and experienced QA automation engineer based in Panama to design testing procedures and execute automation testings for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications, designing and maintaining automated tests to validate their performance. You should have advanced programming skills, DevOps experience, a keen eye for detail, and good project management skills. Fluent English is essential for seamless communication within our teams and with international stakeholders. Responsibilities: Creating test plans, test matrices, writing test automation scripts, and maintaining them. Providing QA automation testing on various projects simultaneously. Generating and reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas. Triage problems, prioritize accordingly and propose resolutions. Setting up local development environments and debugging. Providing consulting and estimates for automation projects. Support Operations Manager to create and maintain software automation procedures. Working with DevOps, QA team and software developers to find solutions. Requirements: Fluent English (C or greater) is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field. Experience working as a QA automation engineer of desktop, web and mobile applications. Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases. Expertise in Selenium, TestLink, Postman, Jmeter, Cucumber or similar. Experience working with Linux build servers and SSH. Familiar with DevOps with AWS or GoogleCloud. Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases queries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Good project management skills. Previous video application automation experience is desirable. Infrastructure as a code experience is desirable. Soft Skills High attention to detail and thoroughness in testing.
