We are looking for a
QA Engineer who is eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!
What Is This Challenge About
- Own end-to-end quality for the Antidote platform, becoming the internal expert on how it works.
- Build and maintain a Playwright-based automated test suite from the ground up.
- Carry out structured manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and releases.
- Contribute to sprint planning and feature design, providing a quality and user perspective early in the process.
- Define and document QA processes, testing standards, and release checklists.
- Identify, log, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and prioritisation.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure issues are understood and resolved effectively.
- Continuously improve test coverage and quality practices as the product evolves.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a QA or SDET role on a SaaS product.
- Hands-on experience writing automated end-to-end tests with Playwright (or a comparable framework such as Cypress or Selenium, with willingness to move to Playwright).
- Strong instincts for manual exploratory testing — you find the bugs others miss.
- Comfortable contributing to product discussions, not just executing a test plan,
- Excellent communication skills; able to write clear bug reports and talk through issues with engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike,
- Self-directed and comfortable working without an existing QA framework to lean on.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a startup or early-stage product environment.
- Familiarity with legal tech, fintech, or compliance-adjacent SaaS products.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automated build workflows.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
