QA Engineer

Plate Fate (plate-fate.com) is a license plate numerology web app. Type any plate from any country and get a fun, instant reading in English, German, Spanish, Ukrainian or Dutch. We run on Cloudflare Workers and are preparing a public API for partners.

We are looking for a part-time QA Engineer (about 10 hours a week, remote, flexible hours).

What you will do:

• Test the reading flow on staging and production: plate formats from many countries, five languages, mobile and desktop.
• Write and run Playwright end-to-end tests and keep them green.
• Do exploratory testing of new features before release.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs in GitHub Issues and verify fixes.
• Check SEO pages, share links and OG images across locales.

What we expect:

• 2+ years in QA for web products.
• Hands-on Playwright or a similar end-to-end framework, basic TypeScript.
• Attention to detail across languages and edge cases.
• English for written communication. Ukrainian is a plus.

Nice to have: Vitest, Cloudflare Workers previews, accessibility checks, GA4 event verification.
