QA Engineer

Role Summary: The QA Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of software products by designing, executing, and automating test processes. This role emphasizes both manual and automated testing, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. QA Engineers play a key role in identifying bugs, improving efficiency, contributing to the QA team’s innovation efforts, and delivering consistent value to clients and stakeholders. What we're looking for: Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and Agile principles. Ability to design efficient test strategies (manual and automated). Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QA Touch). Experience with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JUnit, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and innovation. Good written and verbal communication skills. Contribute to a collaborative team culture. Professionalism in handling client and team interactions. Open to a hybrid work setup. What you'll do: Solutions Mindset Assigned project tasks are delivered on time. Tasks are fulfilled with minimal guidance. Quick turnaround on bug fixes and feedback on implementation (QA, Lead, PM). Delivered project tasks follow scope, specifications, and best practices. Creates and executes detailed manual test cases for features and bug fixes. Minimal rework; meets functional requirements, security, and quality standards. Accurately identifies, documents, and tracks bugs early in the development cycle. Ensures testing results and reports are delivered within expected timelines. Performs thorough validation to help prevent client-reported issues. Demonstrates ownership of assigned testing scope and meets quality and security standards. Actively contributes to test automation implementation and enhancement to improve test coverage and efficiency. Code or test scripts are readable, maintainable, and follow team and company conventions. Stronger Together Team and process-related tasks are executed on time. Active and productive participation in QA ceremonies, code reviews, planning, and pairing sessions. Provides timely updates and ensures transparent communication on test progress or issues. Communicates professionally and promptly with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to align on testing outcomes and quality expectations. Attends and actively participates in company engagement and team-building activities. Follows EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) practices and meets established scorecard targets.
