About The Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering department at Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company. In this role, you will work within a small, agile team responsible for developing highly scalable solutions that enable our internal and external customers to optimize their business operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise video security and business analytics solutions, particularly those integrated with Salesforce CPQ. You will play a vital role in planning, executing, and reviewing test cases, managing test environments, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product direction, improve testing processes, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
- Experience with applications facilitating customer order to service delivery
- Relational SQL skills with the ability to execute DML commands for testing activities
- Proficiency in writing high-quality functional tests to verify feature soundness and performance
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and incorporate customer feedback
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (sponsorship not available)
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a collaborative development team, influencing product direction and quality standards
- Plan, organize, and prioritize test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Review test plans independently to ensure reliability and efficiency of software systems
- Set up, configure, and manage test environments that simulate real-world scenarios for validation
- Record, track, and communicate software defects with clear, actionable details for prompt resolution
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management system processes and procedures
- Perform system setup, software installation, configuration, and peripheral device integration
- Install and upgrade hardware and software, including servers, cameras, and other devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
