QA Game Tester - Game Porting (6 months)

Role Description

The role is a full-time, fixed term 6 month remote position focused on ensuring the quality and stability of projects. In this role, the tester will execute test plans and test cases across multiple platforms, identify and document defects, and verify fixes in collaboration with developers. Daily tasks include performing manual functional, compatibility, and regression testing, reproducing issues with clear steps, and tracking results in project management and bug-tracking tools. The tester will also provide detailed feedback on gameplay, performance, and user experience, help validate compliance with platform requirements, and communicate test progress and risks to the wider team.

Required Skills

• Strong Test Execution and Manual Testing skills, including the ability to follow and adapt test plans for different platforms.
• Solid Analytical Skills and Quality Assurance knowledge to identify issues, assess impact, and suggest improvements.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and executing detailed test cases for games or interactive applications.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with console gaming platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) and certification requirements
• Comfort using bug-tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) and documenting issues clearly and objectively.
