Qualified Person - QP

The Role

Our client is a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing business seeking an experienced Qualified Person to join its Quality team on a fully remote basis. This is a genuine opportunity to take on batch release responsibility across a varied and interesting product portfolio, working with a small, close-knit Quality team and a business that is actively investing in the team to support continued growth.

The successful candidate will release batches for internal licences remotely, with only quarterly visits required to the office. Some travel to client sites across Ireland, the UK and occasionally Germany will be needed for audits and client batch release, but this is manageable from a remote base.

What You'll Be Doing

• Certifying and releasing batches across a diverse portfolio: oral solids, liquids, biologics, IMPs and inhalation products
• Acting as Qualified Person for internal licences, with batch release carried out remotely
• Supporting client site audits and batch release across sites in Ireland and the UK, with occasional travel to Germany
• Reviewing and providing final sign-off on Quality Technical Agreements (QTAs) prepared by the Quality Specialist team
• Working closely with the GMP Manager and wider Quality team on new client and CMO onboarding
• Contributing to a Quality team culture built on strong communication, responsiveness and full engagement in remote collaboration

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified QP with current registration and eligibility to act as a Qualified Person
• Proven batch release experience across a range of product types (solid dose, liquids, biologics, IMPs or inhalation products advantageous)
• Experience with client onboarding, QTAs and change control processes is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working remotely and able to travel as needed for client site audits and releases
• Strong communicator, confident participating fully in video-based meetings and remote team collaboration
• Available to start at short notice
