Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain QA processes and procedures across the software development lifecycle. Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring high product quality and reliability. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Support the continuous improvement of QA practices, including test automation coverage and efficiency. Work with tools such as JIRA and Xray to manage test cases, track defects, and report on testing progress. Prepare clear and concise QA reports and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevSecOps) to enhance product quality. Stay up to date with industry trends, QA methodologies, and automation best practices. Ensure compliance with internal standards and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., security, audit readiness). Required Qualifications: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual and/or automation). Basic to intermediate experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with: Java programming language Selenium (preferably with Serenity BDD) Cucumber (BDD approach) JIRA and Xray for test management Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Nice to Have: Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
