Role Overview

We are seeking a Remote QA Tester (US) with a unique focus on validating both software applications and AI-generated code. In this role, you will write comprehensive test plans, evaluate the accuracy, functional safety, and execution of code produced by AI models, and ensure our core platform runs smoothly for thousands of daily users.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Code Validation: Execute, test, and benchmark software code snippets generated by AI models to ensure functionality, security, efficiency, and adherence to requirements.
• Test Case Development: Write detailed, reusable manual and automated test cases, acceptance criteria, and test plans for both AI outputs and platform features.
• Platform Quality Assurance: Perform end-to-end (E2E), regression, and exploratory testing across our web applications and annotator tools.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Document edge cases, reproduce bugs, and provide actionable feedback to both human engineering teams and AI training pipelines.
• Automation: Build and maintain automated testing scripts to streamline continuous testing workflows where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Coding Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging code in at least one major programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++).
• AI & Code Familiarity: Comfort evaluating AI-assisted or machine-generated code for syntax errors, logical bugs, and edge-case failures.
• Testing Methods: Hands-on experience with manual test creation, boundary testing, unit tests, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous ability to catch edge cases, subtle security vulnerabilities, and unexpected behavior in generated output.
• Location: Must be based in the United States and comfortable working remotely.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or PyTest).
• Prior background in AI training, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), or evaluating LLM outputs.
• Familiarity with crowdsourcing or gig-platform QA workflows.
