Responsibilities: As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll help develop the next generation of machine learning models that identify predictive patterns in global financial markets. Your work may include: Designing and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning models for large-scale prediction problems Working with massive structured and alternative datasets to uncover meaningful signals Developing novel statistical methods and predictive features Reading, evaluating, and extending cutting-edge academic research Designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and validating ideas through simulation Collaborating with experienced researchers across disciplines to transform research into production-ready strategies Your research has a direct impact - from idea generation to live trading Find the Team That Fits Your Strengths Rather than hiring into a single narrow role, we match researchers to the team where they can have the greatest impact. The base salary for this role is $150,000 to $200,000, and will be determined based on the candidate’s educational background and professional experience. Base salary is one component of Trexquant’s total compensation package, which may also include a discretionary, performance-based bonus. This position is classified as overtime-exempt.
