Rail, Supplier Management (12 month FTC) Sabre is seeking a Rail, Supplier Management for its Lodging, Ground and Media (LGM) organization. This role will be responsible for developing and executing on a Request for Proposal (RFP) for next generation rail capabilities for Sabre, along with managing a portfolio of rail supplier accounts. Responsibilities: Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute a RFP for updated, next generation rail capabilities Interface with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliverables for technology partners participating in RFP Lead commercial negotiations with potential bidders to maximize value for Sabre Work with Legal and Procurement to ensure RFP process is being run successfully per Sabre policies and procedures Interface with senior LGM leaders, including Supplier Management, Demand, Product, Technology and Analytics on opportunities for additional product offerings and pipeline for Rail Interact with broader Sabre stakeholders to understand the rail landscape and develop potential synergies across the business Evaluate potential rail partnerships designed to drive scale and revenue to the business Identify new product opportunities in the rail landscape and develop business plans to ensure these new opportunities are built and deployed Manage assigned suppliers, including rail companies and lodging partners Education and Qualifications: Strong project management skills and experience Previous hotel or travel supplier management experience Expert negotiation and problem-solving abilities with strong influential aptitude Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Technical competence (previous work as part of or cooperatively with an IT organization) High degree of initiative/desire to work within a team structure Excellent written and oral communication skills Sense of urgency and ability to meet necessary timelines Bachelor’s degree or higher We will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
