This position reports to: Technical Product Manager __ Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to technology, product, and solution development, as well as related Intellectual Property (IP). You will serve as the first point of contact within Research & Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance activities. You will also leverage your expertise to identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions that drive business success. The work model for the role is: Remote This role is contributing to the the ELSB Transformers Business Line based in Nogales. Key Responsibilities: Maintain recognized expertise in a specialized area by incorporating the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. Develop innovative approaches to solving complex engineering challenges by generating ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining validation methods. Document technical findings, designs, calculations, and project results to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Contribute to Intellectual Property (IP) generation within your area of expertise and support the development of project IP strategies. Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in transformer design and development. Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards, including UL, CSA, NEMA, IEEE, and IEC. Experience using simulation software for transformer design and analysis. Advanced English and Spanish communication skills. Availability to travel as required. Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Experience in manufacturing processes, transformer assembly, and test report interpretation is desirable. Valid U.S. visa and passport are preferred.
