React Native Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled React Native Developer to build, refine, and ship high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, care deeply about mobile user experience, and naturally notice—and fix—the missing detail in a user flow, this role is for you.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience with React Native, focused on iOS and Android mobile development to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Build & Ship: Develop, test, and maintain performant cross-platform native interfaces for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Refine UX: Polish micro-interactions, animations, and edge-case flows to ensure a smooth, delightful experience for users.
• Bridge Flow Gaps: Proactively identify friction points, missing states (loading, offline, errors), or incomplete wireframes and resolve them.
• Move Fast: Work in short iterations, ship features quickly, and gather immediate feedback without sacrificing code stability.
• Integrate APIs: Connect mobile clients with RESTful or GraphQL backend services securely and efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Solid experience of native iOS and Android ecosystems, lifecycle methods, component patterns, and mobile UI guidelines (Apple Human Interface & Material Design).
• Experience with native modules (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Experience with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or Context API).
• Familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console deployment processes.
• Strong product sense with high attention to pixel alignment, responsive layouts, and intuitive application flows.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment, prioritizing speed to deployment while keeping code clean and maintainable.
• Ability to work autonomously, fill in missing logic in specs, and collaborate directly with product leads.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-learner, able to work both independently and as a member of a geographically dispersed team.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
