Record to Report Analyst

We're looking for a Record to Report (R2R) Analyst to join our Finance Operations team in Birchwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional to support financial accounting, reporting and month-end activities across a complex multi-entity business, while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office Key Responsibilities: Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities. Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany transactions and other adjustments. Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve outstanding items. Support statutory accounting requirements, year-end audits and the preparation of financial reporting and financial statements. Work closely with Finance Business Partners and wider finance stakeholders to process and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances. Contribute to process improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and reporting standards. To be successful in this role, you'll have: Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, or be working towards a professional accounting qualification. Experience within a Financial Accounting, Record to Report or General Ledger environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Desirable: Experience using SAP. Experience working within a shared services or multi-entity environment. Exposure to process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
